Spring World Cup Preview
Hello, everyone! I am currently sitting in my hotel room in Lahti, Finland preparing for some World Cup races! I want to check in with everyone to provide a more detailed schedule of all the races I will be doing, including where they will be held and some brief thoughts I have going into them.
I qualified for these World Cups due to my performances at US SuperTour races throughout the season. Itโs a huge honor to be back in Europe and there are some seriously fun opportunities coming up here.

As many of you may already know, my girlfriend, Julie, is from Norway. She is a very talented skier and her and I are both on Team Birkie. When I found out in early February that I would be heading back to Europe, I made the plan to head overseas as quickly as possible so I could have plenty of time to adjust to the new timezone. Julie and I took the opportunity to go to Norway together and spend a week skiing at her cabin in Lygna.
I feel so grateful to have such a supportive girlfriend who was willing to miss the American Birkebeiner to come support and watch me in Europe. The week at her cabin was simply incredible and we did some super beautiful skis there.

There you have it! I have a busy few weeks ahead of me here but I am feeling super excited and ready to go. I think that my experience earlier this year on the Tour de Ski really helped to prepare me for these next races (you can read about that here).
I am especially excited for the Norwegian World Cup races in Drammen and Holmenkollen. These are two races that I watched every year growing up and to be taking part in them is nothing short of a childhood dream come true.
I am almost certain that all of these races will be streamed Live and On Demand on Peacock. They will also almost surely be uploaded onto YouTube by some sketchy accounts that are definitely breaking the terms of service, but donโt let that stop you from enjoying some quality World Cup action.
That is it from me for now, I have to focus now! I will check in again after these races.
